Finlee and her very bestest friend!

Ford's First T-ball Game and Opening Day!

Ford has his first t-ball game yesterday! It was the cutest thing I have ever seen! He absolutely loves baseball and is so excited to play! He has done such a good job listening to his coach and learning all the rules ofthe game! We are very proud of him! After his game they had the opening day ceremonies where all the teams march across the field. We had quite a big day!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Mr. Smarty Pants!

In Ford's pre-k class they started sending home this book and the animal to go with it. Parents are to read the story to their child and ask them several questions about the story to check for comprehension. Then the child is supposed to draw what happened in the beginning, the middle, and the end. Ford did that and me being the teacher that I am decided to see if he could label his picture! Well he did way more than that! He was able to write a sentence about each, with me helping him sound out the words! What a proud mommy I am!

The beginning: Turtle takes off his shell.

Middle: He was cold and scared.

End: He got his shell back.

Our trip to Charlotte!

Last weekend the kids and I packed up and headed to see my friend Haley in Charlotte. Jolee had to work.:( Haley was the very first friend that I met here in Atlanta. We met the first summer I was here at school getting our classrooms ready. We are so much alike and obviously became the best of friends. She has a little girl named Kennedy who is two and had another baby in August, Kendall. I hadn't seen Kendall yet so we headed up there to catch up. We had a lot of fun. We go there at bedtime Friday, so after all the kids were down Haley and I had a great time chatting the night away. Saturday we went to a children's museum downtown and went to the park. Sunday we left a little after breakfast to head home. We had a great time! I really miss her living here!!!
