Just some random pictures of my sweeties!!

Guess who has two bottom teeth coming through...

You can see how white her gums are! The one on the right broken through the skin. It is barely poking through, but enough to make her cranky:(

7 months old...Where has the time gone??

Finlee is seven months old as of last Tuesday! Just in the last month or two she has started doing so much. She crawls everywhere and very fast!! She never really did the army crawl thing, she just took off! Ford did not crawl well until almost nine months. She is just a little bitty thing! She finally eats three meals a day! She still refuses to eat veggies for the sitter but is now eating solids for her, as long as it cereal and fruit! She weighs a whopping 17 lbs. and is 26 inches long. She is still very skinny but her thighs are starting to chunk up! We love to squeeze them!!!! She adores her brother and longs to be near him. She watches his every move and loves to hear him sing and read to her! He can just walk by her and she giggles! So cute! He definitly loves her too now!!! I have always been a daddy's girl and so is Finlee. She sees her daddy and lights up! It is the cutest thing ever! Here are some recent pics of our big girl!!!

Finlee finally eating solids...A little laughter at the table solves everything!!!

"Happy Balemtimes Day!!!!"

What a week!!!!!

Well it all started Tuesday night! The kids were bathing, Finlee in her duck bath tub and Ford in front of her in the real tub. he was helping me pour water into her tub with his bucket. Well the bucket fell and knocked Finlee on the head! SHE SCREAMED!!!! But seemed ok. The next day I noticed that she appeared to have some broken blood vessels on that side of her face where the bucket fell. So I took her to the doctor. The doctor referred to it as "road rash", soft tissue breakage since they have such sensitive skin and saidthat she was fine, but that she did have an ear infection. She has had a cold, but showed no signs of her ear hurting. I have a feeling she is going to be just like Ford with the ea infections but we are praying not! She was put on Zithromax for three days whic hsuited me because the less days she is on medicine, the better. She hates to take anything and it is quite a challenge. Basically Thursday night Jolee and I had to pin her down and hold her head to get her to take it. She spit a lot out but did get some. Friday night she got the whole dose in. Friday night was Parents Bight Out so we dropped the kids off with Brenda and went on our Valentine's date. We got back to pick the kids up and she was wet when Brenda handed her to me. We thouht she just peed a lot, but then the projectile vomitting started!! It went everywhere!!!! Needless to day she did that for the next hour! She was so empty that she was dry heaving. We eventually called the doctor and took her to the 24 hour Pediatric urgent care where ofcourse she acted completely back to normal. They decided maybe the medicine was too strong and told us to break up her dose! Yesterday she was not very hungry but not puking. She would only nurse though, no bottle! Well this morning Ford wakes up super early and walks into our room. We tell him to go back to bed and he says no. He repeatedly says no, so we walk him back to bed to find a bed full of throw up!!! They must have had some 24 hour bug. He has not thrown up since but has no appetite and that is not like Ford at all. He just now ate some applesauce and has kept that down!! Let me tell you, when it rains with sickness it pours!

More 6 month pictures.....

Gymnastics

Ford started gumnastic this past Tuesday! He had a blast. Our hope was to get himto be able to listen and do group activities. He plays really well by himself and we just wantd some interaction with several kids his own age. All the kids at his sitter are younger, except one but he will go to Pre-K next year. He was in sensory overload. He participated in the beginning in the group activities. They ask them their name and their parent's names. He ofcourse said he was "Ford Thomsom" and Jolee and I were Mommy thomsom and Daddy thomsom. He hasn't quite realized we have other names! Overall he did well. He loved playing in the equipment and playing wth the kids. We enroled him in the 2-3 class once a week until he turns 3. Then we have a nother Gymnastics place booked for him and SOCCER!!! I am so excited!!!

We will not be getting him tubes. We got a second opinion because we were really nervous about putting him to sleep. They said that ear infections sually taper off around three and to wait it out!! We were relieved, but hope he gets through the rest of the winter ear infection free. His hearing is still normal and he ofcourse can talk your ear off. They were very surprised at how well and how much he spoke! :) Takes after his mommy!
