What we have been up to!

What a busy couple of weeks! Let's see! Where do I begin?? Mimi, my mom came into town! It was wonderful! We had a great visit! I miss her so much! She was a lifesaver! During her stay, Finlee caught a very bad virus! She had between a 102 and 103 fever for 4 whole days! It was so scary. The doctor thought she had a urinary tract infection. I never have heard of a baby getting that, but apparently it is common. So the ended up pricking her heel to take some blood.That came back ok, but they also put a catheter in my sweet baby. Needless to say we both cried!!! She ended up not having that. After 4 heel pricks, a catheter, three doctors visit, throwing up, an ER visit, and utter miserableness, she is better!! My mom was the best. She just held her and rocked her. Finlee loved it! Finlee loves Mimi! Ford was thrilled to see her as well. He went with me to pick her up at the airport and was thrilled the moment he saw her!!! He can't wait to go on the airplane to see her in June.
We have been spending a lot of time outside on the screened porch. The weather has been wonderful, minus a few days! The kids love to be outside. Finlee loves to crawl everywhere and pull up on things and let go and plop down. She is walking around things holdong on. She will be an early walker I can feel it! Pray for us!! Two mobile children means a lot of running! She is completely infactuated with Ford. Watches his every move. He ofcourse feels the same. He has become very protective of her and loves to help me with her. He loves to give her her bottle although she tries to hold it herslef but he refuses to let her! He randomly goes up to her and hugs her and tells her he loves her! So sweet! They are too cute! I cannto believe she is 8 months and that he will be three in two months! Where has the time gone!! Easter Pictures!!!!

Here are some Easter pics of the kids. I couldn't resist! I just got three poses, which is amazing for me!!!! But we are getting Finlee's 9 month pictures, family pictures and Ford three year old pictures next month, so I had to limit myself!!! Finlee had some trouble smiling. I think she was still kind of under the weather, but she was definitly better!!!

My dad sent me these leg warmers from his work. They are the cutest things ever and they really keep her legs warm. They are great for dresses and bummy days around the house.

The most precious things in life...

A few weeks ago the sermon during mass was about how love conquers all!! Is that ever true! Especially when things are so rough for everyone, that is one things that gets us all through! I am so blessed with my life. I thank God for that every day!!! For family and friends who read this blog, I thought I would share the ten things that make my life so perfect!

1. Two beautiful and perfect children.
2. The way that Jolee looks at me and adores me.
3. My parents, they always are there for me! I miss them terribly!
4. The way Ford loves Jolee and I, the hugs and kisses he gives.
5. Finlee's perfect little smile!
6. Watching Ford grow and learn!
7. Seeing Finlee's first milestones!
8. Hearing Ford say his prayers for all the people in his life....PRECIOUS!
9. What Jolee and I have accomplished together as a couple and as parents.
10. The lessons that I have learned in life. I am still learning a few, but am still learning!
