My sweet little smart boy!!!

I love watching Ford learn! He amazes us literally everyday with something new! He has learned so much in the last couple months that it blows us away! He knows almost half of the letters of the alphabet and their sounds! I have had kindergarten students who did not know that when entering kindergarten. He is just like a little sponge! The other day he was playing with his matchbox cars. The teacher in me says lets line them up and count them. He ofcourse is thrilled and puts them in a straight line. He begins to count but is not going in order and is missing some. So I took this time to teach him one to one correspondence. And he gets it!!!!!! Then Finlee comes over and starts to try to count, you know in her own little language! I love how much they absorb things!

Puzzle time!

Finlee loves puzzles! She is just like Ford! He loves them too! She will just sit there and figure it out! he looks at the piece as if she is studying it hard, looks at the puzzle and matches it! She is too cute! I am quite proud of her! Also, I take back what I said on the post of her 18 month check up. She is all the sudden repeating and saying things!!!! YAY! She now says Willa ( her cousin), "ord" Ford, she says daddy instead of dada, no, and some others! She is just stubborn and determined to do things at her own pace:) Sweet girl!

Ford, Finlee and Willa!

These three love eachother like no other! They are the best little cousins!!!
After Church on Sunday!
Willa would not look at me! She would just laugh and look down! Stinker!

Smart girl!

Finlee at 18 months!

Yesterday Miss Finlee Grace turned 18 months old! Today we had her well checkup! She weighs a whopping 21 lbs. and is 31 inches tall. My little string bean. She is in the 9th% for weight and 51% for height! Her head is definitly the biggest thing on her being in the 90% percentile! The doctor said she has lots of brains! I had some questions and concerns but all were answered and she is perfectly healthy! I am a little concerned about her speech. She does not say much! She says mama, dada, night night, clara (our dog), all done, bye bye, hi, turtle, and that is about it. She will only tell you what a dog says too. No other animal sounds. Now this does not mean that she does not know it. She is stubborn and we also wonder if her not hearing so much earlier, if that has hindered her speech a little. Hopefully she will start mimicking and talking soon. If at about 21 months she does not really say much more, them we will look into a speech screening. But hopefully she will start babbling! Ford also does a lot of talking for her, so we shall see! She is the sweetest and most beautiful baby girl in the world though!!! We love her to pieces! She is very shy, yet outgoing with mommy and daddy! She has quite a temper! Make her mad and watch out!

I just can't get enough......

of these two precious faces!!!!!!!!

Fun in the snow!

It started snowing here Thursday afternoon as I was leaving work! Ford was quite excited! It snowed and iced all throughout the night and schools were closed Friday! I loved being home with my sweet babies! I feel bad because I only let them stay outside for about 20 minutes! It was freezing and I could not find their gloves! But they loved that 20 minutes! I made it up to them by braving the icy roads and taking them to Monkey Joes to jump out their energy with friends! We had a big time!

Trip to Houston!

We had a great time in Houston! The kids and I flew out there the 26th for a few days! It was so great to see my parents and brother and his family! I love it there! While we were there I also got to see one of my very best lifelong friends, Brooke! I miss her and my other girls terribly! We had a blast!

Ford and Theodore! He really wanted to see Alvin and the Chipmunks, but it was sold out! He had to settle for Princess and the Frog.
